23/12/2011 - Stop Lounging Around!
Those of you with Leeds student accommodation in Headingley may be interested to know that local landmark The Lounge Cinema, which opened in 1916 and closed in 2005, is set for redevelopment. The Lounge closed after audiences dwindled by half after the completion of the multiplex in The Light, in addition to the large cinema complex in Cardigan Fields, by Burley.

According to the latest figures from The Halifax published on 6th December, UK residential property prices in the three months to November were 0.6% lower than in the preceding quarter. There has been an even split of monthly price rises and falls this year, with five of each, and one month of no change.
