In the busiest week of our websites short life, 3233 people visited www.let-leeds.com to search for student and professional property to rent across Leeds. Amazingly 59% of visitors had never been to the site before. Last week we received 571 calls to our 4 phone lines and thanks to the team at Let-Leeds we answered all but 10 calls. In what was an extremely busy week we carried out 204 separate viewings with 5 and 6 bed properties in Hyde Park being the most popular.

And a happy new year it's turning out to be for the Merrion Centre! The reason is Town Centre Securities PLC, a leading property investment and development company, has been granted planning consent to redevelop 80,000 sq ft the Merrion Centre into a leisure scheme called New Front.
27/01/2012 - Stamp Duty Holiday to End March 2012
The stamp duty holiday, which ran from March 2011 is due to lapse at the end of March 2012. The scheme enabled first time buyers the chance to purchase their first home without the burden of stamp duty for properties up to £250,000. The scheme would have given many first time buyers in Leeds the chance to save £2,500 in stamp duty tax on properties up to £250,000.
