What do you do at Let Leeds?

I'm the MD of Let Leeds. My role is to work with the Branch Managers to ensure Let Leeds is continuing to provide the best possible customer service, as part of our strategy to grow the business across Leeds.

I oversee the business strategy, marketing, finance, recruitment and operations, and am lucky enough to work with top quality people who help us deliver a winning formula.

I am passionate about the people in our business and the people we work for; our Tenants and Landlords. I am enthusiastic about delivering an exceptional level of service to the thousands of stakeholders who interact with Let Leeds.

Our business is all about people, so we invest in training our people, and by supporting them with the best processes and systems to help them deliver quality throughout.

I particularly enjoy watching our employees develop themselves and succeed, especially when they come to Let Leeds with no industry experience. One of my main responsibilities is to keep our team happy, who in return keep our customers happy.

What did you do before Joining Let Leeds?

As a young adult I moved to the fantastic City of Newcastle to study Business and Accountancy. Shortly after graduating from University I secured a place at Miller Homes on their graduate scheme and worked in various departments at Miller Homes before the property crash in 2007/8, at which point I created Let Leeds after spotting a gap in the market for our fresh approach to Letting Agency.

What's the best bit about working for Let Leeds?

Let Leeds was born at the beginning of 2009, with the vision of providing a brand-new approach to Letting Agency to quality Landlords across Leeds. At the time the industry was traditional and rigid, with some agents offering a sub-standard service.

Let Leeds streamlined processes and provided one point of contact property management to deliver first class service. Let Leeds innovated, utilising new technology, quality property marketing and management. The business developed through referrals and now manages a large portfolio of properties across Leeds.

The difference at Let Leeds is the people within the business. We are proud to have an ever-expanding team of proactive, professional and hardworking individuals who want to provide our customers with celebrity service.

I'm excited about the growth of the business and, as an ambitious company, we are keen on expanding further our property portfolio across Leeds, both organically and through acquisition.

What are your hobbies?

I enjoy watching and playing football, going to the gym, watching films, eating out and cooking in, playing poker, as well as spending time with my family.

An interesting fact about you?

Let Leeds was created from my spare bedroom, with an investment of £3000.

What is your dream home?

My dream house would be an old converted barn with lots of modern gadgets and features, a Jacuzzi, football pitch. I love the sun, food and friends so location is a top priority. It would have to be somewhere warm, near a beach with some local bars and restaurants, and close to friends and family!
